Plan That TripAlerts
Every time a change is made, we validate your trip against a set of rules. If anything is wrong, it is displayed on the Alerts Pane. Alerts will come and go as you update your trip. Depending on your planning process, they might only be useful to you once you think your plan is complete. Each alert can be dismissed if you're sure it's not important to you. Keep in mind that fixing the problem will also remove the alert. If you dismiss an alert, it will not come back.
Selecting an alert will open the detail view for the associated item.
Alerting rules:
- Location has no dates assigned
- Location has no place associated (not geolocated)
- Dates within the trip unassigned to location
- Location dates extend past trip date range
- Location dates start prior to trip date range
- Locations with more than one day of overlap
- Location without associated overnight stay
- Locations with overlapping times
- Activities with overlapping times
- Overlapping stays
- Trip is over-budget
- Drive longer than 8 hours
- International border crossings
